Our Group Enablement Teams are the Technology, Business Enablement, Value Chain and Replenishment experts developing new capabilities and platforms for a better retail future. What you'll do
In the Governance, Analytics and Technology Lead role, you'll support our strategy of safe and trusted data within the Woolworths Group. More specifically, this position is responsible for delivering governance and analytics to support data accuracy and quality, by trends and patterns identification and analysis. This role will see you looking for opportunities to further automate how we ingest data within the Woolworths Group ecosystem.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Data Strategy and Integration: Delivering against the data strategy that aligns with the business goals and objectives, identifying and implmenting opportunities for consistent and accurate integration.
- Data Governance, Quality and Security: Implementing and enforcing data cleansing, validation and governance policies, standards and procedures to maintain data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Reporting, Analytics and Process Improvement: Driving the development of reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making and process improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating with your team and more broadly within the group, to better understand their data needs and how they can support reporting and governance.
- Change Management, Training and Education: Effectively managing changes in data structures, processes, and technologies, through the facilitation of training and education of data management best practices and data-related tools and technologies.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate:
- Leadership experience ideally within technically diverse teams, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven exposure to leadership responsibilities and driving change within either a Retail or Data driven environment.
- Problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and experiencing at listening to problem statements and using technology to drive change.
- Solid expertise in data management, Analytics, ML, and data services solutions, with the ability to predict future opportunities.
- Strong and advanced knowledge of Agile, GCP, Azure Cloud and Microsoft Excel. Atacama and/or Colibra exposure are highly desirable.
