Role Overview: In the role of ICT Contracts Lead, you'll lead the way in commercial negotiations, contract renewals, governance, procurement strategy, and relationship management with internal stakeholders and external vendors. This position presents a unique chance to contribute directly to the organization's success by implementing strategies and processes that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in negotiating and renewing commercial contracts with ICT vendors.
- Provide oversight and reporting on IT and contract governance for key vendors.
- Develop and execute IT sourcing strategies, including managing RFI and RFP processes.
- Ensure effective governance structures and seamless transition of contract management responsibilities.
- Review and execute IT contracts following organizational objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors, IT teams, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the IT vendor risk register and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate risks effectively.
- Hold tertiary or professional qualifications in a relevant field.
- Bring 5-10 years of experience in IT contract management, procurement, and vendor relations.
- Possess strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract negotiations and reviews.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships.
- Exhibit proficiency in contract management processes and procurement systems.
