Role: General Practice
Dates: 6th - 31st May
Duration: 3-week Minimum commitment
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0830 am – 1700 pm, with an hour for lunch.
After Hours / on-call: 24-hour on-call and nursing home visits
Consult Time / Patient Load: 15-minute consults, with the expectation for locums to see 4 patients per hour.
Patient Demographic: The clinic has a full scope with a higher-than-average percentage of elderly.
Billing: Mixed Billing Practice, where 40% of patients are privately billed.
Software: Medical Director
Staff: You will work with 2 FT GPs and 1 PT GP, 2 RNs, 1 EEN, 4 Receptionists and the Practice Manager. The clinic also has an on-site Psychologist.
Pay: $1,500 flat rate per day + GST
Provisions: Flights or mileage, accommodation and hire / fleet car provided
