The opportunity:
Based at Visy Board in Hemmant have an opportunity has arisen for a motivated Forklift Operator who has experience using forklift attachments to handle paper reels.
The job entails daily forklift duties, Truck loading & unloading using forklift attachments and basic machine operating. All whilst complying with all site OHS, Quality and manufacturing procedures.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Machine operating and relief operating.
- Forklift Duties including attachments.
- Loading & unloading of Trucks using attachments
- RF Scanning
- General Warehousing & Housekeeping
- Compliance with OHS&E requirements.
- Ensuring planned production requirements and delivery times are met.
What you will bring to the team:
- Be able to demonstrate previous line manufacturing experience.
- Be able to work well in a team environment and demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Forklift license with experience operating a Grab (clamp attachment).
