About the Role
You will work in various sections of the Haematology laboratory - Special Haematology - and be responsible for the processing of specimens according to established laboratory procedures and issuing of results relevant to these specimens.
You will assist the Special Haematology Senior Scientists in all aspects related to cellular therapy, flow cytometry, haemoglobin electrophoresis, molecular haematology and associated testing to provide efficient, safe and high quality service.
Classifications for this position will range from RX1 - RX7 ($58,827.60 - $84,380.40 per annum)
Your Contribution
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent
- Experience in areas of Haematology/Special Haematology
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Haematology
St Vincent's Pathology is committed to the provision of a comprehensive, high quality diagnostic and consultative pathology service for St Vincent's campuses, GP's and medical specialists in the Melbourne area.
The Special Haematology area provides cellular therapy, flow cytometry, haemoglobin electrophoresis and associated testing and molecular haematology services.
