- Permanent, part time 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours/week); Wednesdays and Fridays essential, other day negotiable
About the RoleThe primary responsibility of the role will be to provide senior clinical care; including assessment, treatment, evaluation and follow-up for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clients. The role will ensure delivery of an effective, efficient, clinically relevant cardiopulmonary service.You will also be responsible for supervision/support of other staff, service development and ensuring that the program provides high quality, evidence based clinical services that lead to improved health outcomes for clients.Direct clinical provision of high quality and evidence-based cardiopulmonary assessment, intervention, education and managementProvide and co-ordinate education to staff, clients and their families to enhance their understanding and management of their cardiopulmonary diseaseAct as a resource for other departments in clinical mattersLead quality initiatives and service development activities across HIP in relation to cardiopulmonary service provisionProvide supervision and clinical support to staff and physiotherapy studentsClassifications for this position will range from VB7 – VC1 ($100,089 - $114,358 per annum, pro rata for part time).
Your ContributionCurrent AHPRA registration as a qualified PhysiotherapistCurrent Victorian Driver’s LicenseMinimum of 7 years’ experience as a qualified physiotherapistExperience working with clients with cardiopulmonary conditions or willing to undertake training/education and mentoringEffective communication skillsCurrent National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
