Form of workElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
Who you are:
Elecnor Australia has an exciting opportunity for experienced Grader Operators to join the project in our Civil team.
This will be on a fly in fly out or drive in drive out basis on a 21/7 roster to Mildura, VIC to then work out of our Balranald camp site. This could also suit a local candidate, who is happy to work on that same roster.
What you will bring to the team:
- Current Construction Whitecard
- HR Driving license
- Grader Operations license - essential
- Water Cart, Excavator, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Roller tickets
- 3+ years experience in similar role
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
- Physically fit with the ability to do physical labour tasks
- Hand and power tools experience
