As a Graduate Accountant you will provide experience across a range of roles within the Ticketing Team, including settlements, refunds, forecasting, financial accounting, management reporting and fraud.
About the Role
- Generate ticketing reports and reconcile event sales
- Assist in preparing financial statements, monthly forecasting and tracking of actuals against forecasting
- Assist with fortnightly forecasting of business unit P&Ls
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Post adjustments and payments to ledgers and other records
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify ways to streamline processes in co-ordination with key clients, both internal and external
- Promptly deal with all queries, including those concerning internal and external clients
- Other ad-hoc accounting work as required.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field;
- Recent graduate or within 2 years of graduation;
- Understanding of requirements for accounting procedures;
- Strong work ethic;
- Effective communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience in an accounts payable or accounts receivable function is a plus
