As our Graduate Accountant, reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will provide timely, effective and accurate support for the day to day delivery of the financial accounting function as well as month end processing and reporting.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will provide assistance with financial accounting services including daily journal processing, support month end GL close, support balance sheet reconciliations and basic management reporting.

A few of your responsibilities

  • Assist with delivering monthly reporting to business partners including balance sheets , reconciliation summaries and regulatory reporting.
  • Provide assistance with the investigation and resolution of transactional issues including misallocations, late adjustments and inter-company mismatches
  • Assist business partners with accounting and reporting queries
  • Provide support for internal/external audits

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as accounting / finance or commerce is essential
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
  • A proven track record of proficiency in relevant computer systems (Oracle/ERP, Word, Excel)
  • A team player who has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We are seeking candidates who have completed a degree in a relevant field and are looking to join our team as a Graduate Accountant. You will be keen to learn the day-to-day transactional accounting fundamentals and will be hands on in learning new skills and broadening your knowledge of group finance.
