Position Overview:
- Role: Nurse / Clinical Assistant / Orthoptist (part-time)
- Location: Strathpine
- Hours: Minimum of 20, Flexible based on requirements
- Schedule: Regular hours with flexibility. Must include Tuesday/Thursday all day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Ophthalmologists in patient care, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures under supervision.
- Assist with post surgical care and follow up (dressings, sutures etc).
- Educate patients on eye health, treatments, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- No specific qualifications required but would suit Bachelor of Nursing
- Previous experience in Ophthalmology encouraged but not essential
