About the role:
GV Health Dental Services are looking for a recently qualified 1st Yr graduate Dentist to join our team to provide general dentistry in a community setting. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a clinical setting, provide treatment under general anaesthetic as well as being part of our outreach service. You will work autonomously within a large team and will have the support and mentoring from senior clinicians as you develop your clinical skills.
The Graduate Dentist will also provide dental support to Prosthetist and Therapists as well as perform clinical duties outside their scope of practice. The role is seen as a learning experience in order to build on and gradually expand clinical skills. As such it is expected that advice, direction and support is sought from the Senior Dentist and the Clinical Director of Dental Services.
GV Health Dental Services offer dental treatment to eligible patients from our fixed clinic located at GV Health Graham Street Campus and via a mobile out reach service to aged care facilities and schools throughout the Goulburn Valley.
We are looking for someone with:
- Intimate working knowledge of dental software program - Titanium
- good understanding of patient confidentiality
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Dentist
- Current Radiation Operators Licence
Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated intimate working knowledge of dental software program – Titanium
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work in a large team environment
- Excellent understanding of patient confidentiality
- Intimate knowledge of Infection Control including prevention of transmission as sterilization protocols.
- Ability to provide a highly advanced range of dental services within scope of practice
- A satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check, Victorian ‘Employee’ Working with Children Check and completion of Australian Statutory Declaration will be required from the prospective candidate prior to commencement of employment. Do you agree to completing these requirements?
