INFANT, CHILD & YOUTH AREA MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING SERVICE (ICYAMHWS)
Alfred ICYAMHWS is one component of the Department of Mental & Addiction Health at Alfred Health. We are a community-based service providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and case management to infants, children, adolescents and young people up to the age of 25 years of age presenting with behavioural, emotional, psychiatric or developmental difficulties.
ICYAMHWS provides clinical services in partnership with a wide range of service providers to achieve the best possible outcomes. Alfred ICYAMHWS is committed to active participation by families and young people in evaluating and improving our services.
What you’ll be doing
A new and exciting position within Alfred ICYAMHWS has been created to provide evidence-based nutrition care to consumers within ICYAMHWS.
In this role, you will work collaboratively within the ICYAMHWS team and with the Nutrition department, to provide and support the ongoing development of nutrition services to children, young people and families accessing ICYAMHWS. You will provide nutrition interventions including assessment, planning and monitoring of interventions with clients and their families, as well as deliver individual and group nutrition education for children, young people and/or family as required. As a part of this role, you are expected to be involved in, and contribute to, specified quality activities to assist in improving the standard of care for clients.
What we need from you
- Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for full membership of the Dieticians’ Australia (DA) and participates in the Accredited Practicing Dietician (APD) Program
- Australian working rights and full Covid-19 vaccination
- Current Victorian Driver's License
- Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check
