The Role
Whilst you will be based in Brisbane HQ, you will be incredibly mobile, with the ability to move interstate for a period of up to 12 months.
For the successful applicant, this will form part of the most in-depth rotation program ever undertaken, exposing you to all the functions in every department throughout the entirety of our business.
Then, upon completion of this rotation, we will find an opportunity that benefits both you and the company.
You will be formally mentored by senior personnel who represent a variety of experiences and viewpoints from across the business.
Every effort will be made to formally identify a champion of your career from the senior management team who will help guide you.
This role will also include the development and execution of strategic initiatives across either the Components or Bedding business units, including the completion of special projects, identification of business improvement opportunities as well as the management and development of production teams.
Examples of this include, but are not limited to:
- Acting Factory / Production Manager.
- Identifying new machinery requirements, preparing the justification, and managing the installation.
- Identify and prepare a business case for new business opportunities.
- Improving product flow through the factories by the introduction of new processes, layout improvements and equipment.
The Candidate
You will be tertiary qualified in an Engineering discipline with a genuine desire to establish a career within an industry leading company; you will be well organized, committed, enthusiastic and above all, relocatable.
