The role:

We're seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a unique role focused on addressing and advising on environmental issues such as water pollution, waste management, air quality, and soil contamination. This position offers an exceptional pathway for professional development.
As a part of this role, you'll engage in fieldwork, conduct desktop research, and prepare technical reports for senior consultants to evaluate. With time, there's potential to assume additional responsibilities, contributing to both your career and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to project delivery with an unwavering commitment to maintaining technical standards, attending client visits & meetings
- Assist in undertaking field work, desktop research and technical reports for senior consultants to review
- Conduct independent studies, analyses, and interpretations, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Work with senior consultants to develop practical & commercial solutions to problems
- Proactively suggest enhancements to conventional work methods and procedures as part of ongoing program refinement
- Ensure seamless project operations by fulfilling administrative duties
- Deliver project outcomes within client specifications
- Processing of tender documentation & ad hoc administrative tasks
- Comply with quality management systems
- Degree in Environmental Science or similar
- Eligible for corporate membership of Environmental Institute for Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ)
- Willingness to work both on projects (on-site) & in the office
- Australian / NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Able to work from our Brendale office (& site locations) when required
