Job Description
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and occasionally superfunds.
- Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns
- Liaise with clients, the ATO and ASIC
- Reviewing client work
- Assisting with the provision of accounting and business advice to clients
- Assist with research and provision of advice or position papers pertaining to advanced tax issues on a wide range of topics including CGT, business transactions, international tax, structuring and restructuring, Division 7A and tax consolidations
- Continously seek and identify opportunities for your clients to improve how they do business.
- Have completed an accounting degree (BCom or BBus)
- CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing)
- 1 - 6 years of Australian tax and business services experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Team oriented and able to work effectively with peers
- Experience dealing directly with clients
- Efficient time management and organisational skills
- Experience with Xero accounts is desired
