AddressOur client is a trusted mid-tier accounting firm that offers a range of tailored compliance, advisory and wealth solutions. They are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their growing team in Perth CBD.
About the Role:
- Preparing BAS/financial statements and taxation returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSF.
- Exposure to a variety of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7.
- Working directly with Clients and providing income tax and accounting assistance.
- Work closely with Partners and Managers to effectively complete Client’s work.
- Maintaining client’s asset register, adjusting journals and reconciliations.
- Strong problem solving, communication and analytical thinking.
- Managing a team of Juniors.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Public Practice.
- CPA/CA or working towards this professional qualification.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Motivated to build a public practice career.
- A professional demeanor in liaising with Clients.
- High attention to detail.
- Supportive team environment.
- Be provided with internal and external training to develop your technical knowledge and expertise.
- Work closely with Partners, Associates and Senior Managers.
- Work in a modern and vibrant Perth office with working from home options.
