Our client, a fast-growing multidisciplinary firm is looking for a talented and motivated Graduate Lawyer to join the dynamic and growing legal team.
Due to a steady line of work and growth within the firm, they are looking to add a Graduate Lawyer to their busy Melbourne office. The team is led by the Principal and Director, who will be your supervisor.
In this role, you'll assist in a diverse range of commercial matters and estate planning/administration matters. Tasks include but are not limited to;
- Assisting in preparing relationship agreements
- Sale and purchase transactions
- Drafting estate planning documents
- Administering estates
- Entering data into our Practice Management Systems
- Attending client meetings and any other general administrative tasks as required
Key Responsibilities
Assist in a diverse range of commercial matters and estate planning/administration matters.
Tasks include but are not limited to;
- Assisting in preparing relationship agreements;
- Working in sale and purchase transactions;
- Drafting estate planning documents;
- Administering estates;
- Entering data into our Practice Management System;
- Attending client meetings;
- Undertake Continual Professional Development to meet your educational requirements;
- Any other general administrative tasks as required.
- Adhere to company compliance policies and procedures

- Skilled in drafting legal documents
- Efficient at managing priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and analytical skills
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Dedicated to delivering excellent client service
- Work effectively with team/work group through open communication
- Positively influence team members actions to adequately and cost-effectively meet clients’ needs
- Keep management and others informed appropriately and as required about work status of all team members
- Manage conflicts constructively
- Take actions that respect the needs and contributions of others
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products
- Experience with LEAP/Smokeball software (not essential)
Qualifications / Education
- Admission to practice as an Australian Legal Practitioner
- Hold a valid Australian practicing certificate or eligible to
