We are seeking a Graduate Project Officer to join our Asset Solutions team in the Customer Delivery division for a two year fixed term contract.

The Opportunity
As the Graduate Project Officer you will work with Hunter Water to gain experience and training in understanding how to project manage Hunter Water's portfolio of assets. This position will provide the Graduate with the opportunity to develop their professional project management skills across a range of projects.
What you'll do:
- Effectively support the delivery of engineering and technical support as required
- Proactively seek opportunities to provide support to the team
- Display a high standard of commitment to Hunter Water's WHS objectives at all times
- Display excellent organisational and time management capabilities
- Display a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships
What you'll need to be successful:
Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in a Science or Engineering related discipline [Completed or if currently studying in final semester]
- Class 'C' Drivers' Licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to learn and apply new skills practically in the workplace
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office and aptitude to learn relevant software programs
- Proactive and engaged approach to learning and professional development
Desirable Criteria:
- Construction Induction card
- Relevant prior work experience
