We’re looking for a consultant to support project delivery within our Contaminated Land Team in our Melbourne office. We’d like to hear from you If you have a previous Contaminated Land fieldwork experience or are just starting out after completing your Environmental / Science or Environmental Engineering degree.
About the role
- Fieldwork investigations (e.g., soil, sediment, groundwater, vapour, landfill gas, remediation maintenance infrastructure).
- Investigation and management of hazardous materials and acid sulfate soils.
- Health, Safety and Environmental management.
- Data input, presentation and interpretation.
- Engagement and communication with team members, clients and contractors (e.g., drillers).
- Preparation of environmental reports.

What you will bring to the team:
- Ideally previous experience and knowledge of Contaminated Land fieldwork.
- Science (e.g. geology, chemistry, hydrogeology, environmental) or Environmental Engineering degree
- Passion for technical excellence, attention to detail, solution oriented and praiseworthy client service.
- Comprehension of applicable legislation and National guidelines.
- Excellent writing, verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary team.
- Willingness to undertake fieldwork, sometimes at remote sites with minimal supervision.
- Driver’s license
