Position Title: Graduate Registered Nurse

Employment Type: Ongoing Part-time 64 hours per fortnight

Award: Proposed Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024

Role description

Dhelkaya Health is welcoming applications for our 2025 Registered Nurse Graduate Year Program – General Stream. This is a structured twelve-month program offering two rotations through various departments of the health service designed to consolidate your nursing skills.

About you

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member
  • Ability to accept direction and accept suggestions for change to practice as a beginner practitioner
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve
  • Effective time management and organisational skills

Application Process

  • All applicants must be eligible and registered to participate in the PMCV Allocation and Placement Service (listing Dhelkaya Health as one of your preferenced hospitals).
  • Applicants must have completed all clinical placements and be eligible for registration with AHPRA in January or March 2024. The Graduate Program will have a staggered start, with 5 Graduates starting in late January 2024, and 5 Graduates commencing in late March 2024.
  • All applications must include:
    • A cover letter (including passport-sized photograph to match with video interview)
    • A current CV
    • A copy of your academic transcript to-date
    • Two clinical appraisals from placements. Please include a copy of the graded appraisal and signed pages only.
    • Referee checks x 2 completed as part of the PMCV GNMP application process

Participation in the PMCV video interview between 17th and 20th July 2023

  • Your application receipt will be acknowledged and an email sent when the ranking process has been completed. Interviews outside of the SONRU process are not planned and we will contact you directly if we need further information to aid the process.
