We currently have vacancies for Register Nurse Team Leaders at Elizabeth Gardens in Burwood. Shifts available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 1500 to 2215.
As a Registered NurseTeam Leader you will you possess strong clinical and business acumen with ability to demonstrate initiative for innovative solution focused outcomes.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Supervision of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants
- Oversee clinical care in collaboration with clinical support staff
- Consult with families, allied health and medical personnel
- Provision of appropriate and timely documentation that meets regulatory requirements
- Identify high risks and ensure care is of best practice, report all clinical issues
- Complete and supervise documentation of assessments, care plans care evaluation
Qualifications & Skills
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Recent experience within the Aged Care Industry
- Recent experience in caring for high care and dementia residents
- Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, care plans
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards and accreditation requirements.
