The Role
Are you a Graduate nurse in your 1st year and looking for an opportunity to participate in a supported graduate program?
The Graduate Registered Nurse (RN1) position is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, person centred nursing care by ensuring care is delivered in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.
Our Graduate Nurse Program is a 12-month program for newly qualified Registered Nurses to experience first-hand the diverse range of career opportunities within JHFMHN. As part of the program you will undertake rotations and work alongside experienced staff who will support you as you transition into your first year of nursing.
On successful completion of the graduate program, program participants may be directly appointed. Merit selection processes may apply in some locations. Rural Incentives may apply. Our ideal candidate: Is motivated to learn is enthusiastic and wants to develop professionally as a nurse Is comfortable working in a high paced, high volume environment.
About the locations
Positions are available across rural NSW at the following locations; Macquarie (Wellington), Bathurst & Shortland 2/3 (Cessnock).
