About the Role
Due to ongoing growth and expansion we are looking to recruit graduate accountants across our Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra offices.
We operate a collegiate work model where graduates work directly with partners and senior staff and are actively encouraged to pursue their own career objectives.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the administration of formal insolvency matters, including preparation of statutory reports and compliance lodgments (commensurate with experience);
- Assist with investigations into an entity’s finances including the analysis of financial statements, accounting and business records;
- Assist in the day-to-day issues on larger insolvency engagements, including trade-on management, receipts and payments and calculation of employee entitlements;
- Correspond with all stakeholders over the phone and in writing, prepare written responses as required; and
- Be committed to learning and developing a technical understanding of insolvency skills
- Have graduated from an accounting, business or law degree
- Experience in accounting will be well regarded (but is not essential)
