About you:
We are looking for an intrinsically motivated and highly driven Engineer of any experience level (Graduate, Site or Project) with a specialised background in building/ structural construction. Joining a dynamic team in our Structures division, where you will be guided by a construction/ project manager as you immediately get the opportunity to take ownership over many aspects of project delivery.
Keys to your success include the ability to be extremely well-organised in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication, an eagerness to learn, and confident decision making.
We tend to develop talent quite quickly, yet meticulously. Within a year you will likely be managing your own projects and team members, as well as helping recruit the next generation of engineers and construction professionals.
You are passionate about your work and are fully accountable for the results achieved, being excited by the prospect of adding value to our diverse business and being a key contributor to the achievement of our growth objectives.
What you need:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or a relevant trade
- 1+ years of full-time work experience in a similar Engineer in Contractor/ construction particularly with building/ civil experience
- Must have proven experience in construction working for a contractor or self-performing subcontractor preferred
- Confident with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project
- Self-motivated and highly driven
- Comprehends new concepts swiftly
- Highly curious and keen to learn
- Supportive, relatable, adaptable, reliable
- Excited for periodic travel around regional Queensland
- Driven for career progression
- Class C Open Australian Driver’s License
