About us
The Shire of Merredin is a local government area with a population of around 3,300 people, located 260km from Perth on Great Eastern Highway, with daily train services from Perth. The Shire is the regional hub, servicing a wider population of around 10,000 and we are positioning to live up to our tagline ‘Innovating the Wheatbelt’.
The Role
The Merredin Regional Community and Leisure Centre is a welcoming and vibrant local space where sports, leisure and recreation thrive together. Reporting to the Grandstand Bar and Restaurant Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the seamless operation of the Grandstand Bar and Restaurant. Your responsibilities include providing exceptional bar service, ensuring a clean and organised kitchen and Restaurant, and assisting with food preparation as required.
The ideal candidates for this position possess well-developed time management and organisational skills, ensuring efficient handling of tasks and responsibilities. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm, contributing to a positive team environment. A customer-centric mindset, coupled with a commitment to delivering outstanding service and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences, is essential.
