ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

Working across the organisation with key stakeholders to identify, prioritise and source grant funding opportunities to optimise the level of external funding received for projects and services delivered by Singleton Council, the Grants Management Officer offers specialist advice and ensures that the grant management governance framework is followed across the organisation ensuring that grant based revenue is maximised, that grants are managed consistently and that reporting, acquittal and other conditions stated in the grant deeds are met.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Oversee identified grant programs with a focus on stakeholder management and grant program administration
  • Monitor grant contracts, payments, reporting/acquittal requirements and report on progress
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders on key tasks in the grant management process
  • Maintain processes, systems and tools which support effective Grants Management
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders providing a source of expert advice on policy, process, grant writing, grant administration and acquittals
  • Research and liaise with external bodies to identify grant opportunities and communicate these to key stakeholders

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week.

Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 12 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $87,136 - $98,016 per annum plus superannuation.
