Grants/Assessors/Complaints Officer

About the role:

• Full-time positions across Sydney
• Salary rate: $40-$58 p/h + Super - upon experience
• Temp contracts durations & extension opportunities
• Hybrid environments (on-site and WFH)
• Opportunities to work with various government bodies
• Most jobs are in urban locations and close to public transport
• Easy to fill timesheet, on-time weekly payment, and option for Real-Time Remuneration

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing grant applications and providing expert advice on whether the application meets the criteria and guidelines for the grant.
• Building/creating new files for open and closed grant opportunities
• Work with potential grantees to ensure that all required documents are submitted, review grant applications, and make recommendations to decision-makers.
• Manage complaints made by individuals or organizations regarding the administration or outcome of a grant program.
• Investigate complaints, attempt to resolve them through mediation, and make recommendations to decision-makers regarding any necessary changes to the grant program.

Overall, as Grants/Assessors/Complaints Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the grant application process is fair, transparent, and effective. They help to ensure that grant funding is distributed to organizations that meet the necessary criteria and that any issues or complaints are addressed promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

• Experience in project management or grant administration.
• Experience in utilising the following systems: Sharepoint, TRIM, Govenrment Grants Processing system (GovGPS), Qlik Sense, National Approved Provider System (NAPS)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain impartial and objective when investigating complaints are essential.
• Australian Citizenship required.
