About the Role
Rest’s purpose is to create super our members love, so we’re on a mission to make super simple.
Working within the Brand and Member Experience Team, you will be responsible for delivering effective creative and design solutions which are differentiated across a range of communication channels. You’ll leverage insights to inform the design of content to ensure that Rest member’s experience is optimal.
As a brand advocate, you will support the application of brand guidelines across all design. Whilst also applying innovative thinking, creativity, and customer centricity that helps make Super simple and assists members in understanding complex financial products and concepts.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Create and execute designs for communications across a variety of content and assets (predominantly digital) with the aim of ensuring all material is on-brand in terms of visual execution.
- Work in conjunction with copywriters and designers in the team to creatively solve briefs in a differentiated, innovation and effective way.
- Deliver work across multiple projects at one time whilst maintaining high attention to detail.
- Able to think strategically and creatively to solve briefs and have a natural flair for creativity.
- Collaborate with other teams within Rest including Member Experience, Digital, Product and Operations, as well as external agency partners to ensure consistent design across Rest’s communication channels.
- Leverage best practice design expertise to optimise the efficacy of communications.
- Stay abreast of current best practices and champion adoption of best practice design.
Qualifications
Required qualifications, experience, understanding or credentials including:
- Tertiary level qualifications (e.g. diploma) in graphic design and/or visual communications.
- 2+ years graphic design experience.
- Experience working as a designer either in an inhouse marketing team or in an agency environment.
- Experience designing for digital channels (paid, owned, earned).
- Solid knowledge and use of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Motion graphic design skills favourable
- Prior experience using Figma is favouranle
- Excellent time management skills in order to meet deadlines and workflow under pressure.
- Highly developed initiative and creativity.
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft 365 applications (i.e. Powerpoint, Word.
