The Role
Have you just finished your studies or are you at the early stages of your Graphic Designer career? If so, we are looking for you!
Graphic design solutions are a core element required across almost all Creating Communities projects and activities and we have an exciting opportunity for someone to be a part of that.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Design and produce all graphics, presentations, advertising, reports, social media, websites and other graphic requirements as needed.
- Interpret client needs and develop graphic concepts to suit purpose.
- Develop design briefs.
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
- Present finalised ideas and concepts to project managers and/or clients.
- Work with a wide range of media, including photography.
- Proof to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Review and format existing templates and branded documents to ensure the Creating Communities brand is applied consistently across the board.
- Support the implementation of the Creating Communities content/ communications strategy.
About you…
- Available to work full-time and in office
- Bachelor’s degree or TAFE qualifications in Graphic Design
- 1 – 2 years' experience in an agency, studio or similar environment
- Have a positive “can-do” attitude
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work within project timeframes
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite in a Mac environment (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD)
- Proficient in formatting in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt design styles and consistently apply branded style guides
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proven ability to think creatively and strategically
