The Opportunity
The purpose of the Graphic Designer is the to develop and design concepts and creative outputs across Marketing, Digital and Visual Merchandising channels for POLITIX. They will be proficient in creative thinking and graphic design development, typesetting and a considered approach to the creative process, to ensure a high standard of design is achieved. The Graphic Designer will support the Junior Graphic Designer as they work alongside each other on design projects. They will ensure a high level of quality and consistency across all graphics the creative team roll out across the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and execute branding and visual communications.
- Seasonal Campaigns: Graphic Conceptualization and design development for seasonal campaigns and all brand touch points.
- Content projects: Graphic conceptualization and design development for quarterly content projects and all brand touch points.
- Marketing Digital: Graphic conceptualization and design development for digital marketing requirements, including website, social, banners, digital advertising, mobile site, and mobile applications.
- .Develop print collateral for VM, including windows, decals and in-store signage
- Graphic conceptualization and design development for internal communication, including presentations and set templates for internal teams.
- Understand the performance of web site content and use insights to inform design development on all touchpoints.
- Support Creative Lead with art direction at monthly ecommerce shoots.
- Support the Marketing team with retouching and shot selects post shoot production.
- Design development of all packaging and collateral ensuring consistent and cohesive, delivering on the POLITIX brand & optimising customer experience.
Key Capabilities
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the fashion industry, working across graphic and digital design.
- Exemplary knowledge of the Adobe CC including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD.
- High level of understanding of responsive design.
- Passionate about creative, design and the retail industry.
- Willingness to learn, display initiative and take on new responsibilities.
- Well-developed time management and organisation skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient/advanced in Microsoft office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Advantageous – knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects.
