We are Bowden's Own Care Care, a family-owned Australian premium car care manufacturer based at Warana on the sunshine coast in Queensland. Developed from a passion to create the best car care products available we have continued to grow and create a much loved range of products that can be found throughout automotive retail stores. We are a small close-knit team, passionate about cars and perfection working in an environment as fun as our product names. 

About the role

This is a great opportunity for a gun creative to join our team and provide us with the capability to fastrack our growth as we look to grow our product range and enrich the projection, communication of and engagement with our brand.

We are searching for a multi-skilled creative with a developed eye for product design and ability to create striking digital communications that promote our products. We have an established brand, visual identity, tone of voice and communication styles, so we're not looking for someone to reinvent our wheel. Instead we want someone who can add to what we're already doing by creating high quality content to enhance the online and print communications we produce.

You will work on all aspects of our product, packaging and brand communications from image creation, retouching and selective colour manipulation, video, social media content, print collateral, direct email and print campaigns, to event material and brand merchandising.

Working closely with our founder and product team you will be a key part of the design and creation process and be responsible for pulling it all together and hitting the go button. 

Tasks will include:

• Creating product packaging & label designs, collaborating with internal stakeholders to build visually engaging material.
• Editing, retouching, and resizing of images and video for social media content and digital communications, including ads and other paid digital placements.
• Design and deployment of EDMs to our customers.
• Design and creation of sales materials, proposals, product brochure.
• Management of graphic workflow to deliver outcomes on time.
• Development of brand style guide.
• Managing the digital assets library file within our server structure, maintaining naming conventions.
• Develop & implement proofing process for all print and digital materials.
• Manage external graphic design contractors and workflows as required.
• Development of designs to support our merchandise and apparel ranges

Particular skills and experience preferred

• A Bachelor's Degree in graphic design and/or digital art (including photography).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in full time graphic design work.
• Expert level skills in Adobe CS applications – Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Attention to detail is an absolute must.
