Just 45 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, the spectacular resort boasts a beautiful par 73 Craig Parry designed course which weaves its way through the valley, around a network of picturesque lakes between the regional Victorian towns of Wallan and Kilmore.
We are now seeking applications for a full time position of Greenkeeper to join our golf course maintenance team.
Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent, the successful applicant is expected to have relevant experience and qualifications in sports turf and golf course management.
Specific responsibilities include:- Maintaining the golf course to a professional standard in-line with agreed maintenance plans, and as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent.
- General golf course maintenance including mowing greens, fairways, tees and roughs, fertiliser and chemical application, raking bunkers etc.
- Operation, maintenance, and repair of automated irrigation systems.
- Assist with special construction projects.
- Certificate 3 in Horticulture / Turf Management
- At least 3 years’ experience in golf course maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in use of turf maintenance equipment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of WHS and environmental regulations
- Reliable team member
