Description:
5 Ground Crew Members are required starting in October for a full-time position up to 2 years across properties in the Mount Barker, South Australia region. Workers must be available to work 5-7 days per week. This work is outdoors in various weather conditions and involves but not limited to providing support to the Arboriculture team by contributing to the daily operational preparation and completion of jobs. Ground Crew members aid with ground level activities and do not undertake work at heights. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain a CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card) and AHCMOM213 - Operate and maintain chainsaws (or willing to obtain). Wages will be under the Horticulture Award 2020 and primarily paid at the full-time hourly award rate ($22.61 per hour). Workers must be available for the full duration. You will need reliable transport. It is essential that you are able to work flexible hours as rosters will vary. You must be reliable and committed and have the ability to work quickly and accurately. Due to the high physical demands of these positions, workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated. You may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks.
