Your Opportunity
As Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician you will be responsible of managing the AMO tooling, GSE and motor vehicle maintenance program, as well as additional responsibilities including assisting with general duties as directed by the HMC.
Your Responsibilities
- GSE Technical officer primarily manages the AMO tooling, GSE and motor vehicle data base ensuring that the AMO is compliant at all times.
- Ensure all required servicing & calibration of ST&E is carried out within required time frames by approved NATA organisations.
- Service and repair GSE, tooling and motor vehicles within AMO capabilities as required.
- Manage the AMO tooling & GSE section ensuring all consumables are kept up to stock and controlled.
- Responsible to HMC for the general maintenance control of the GWC PEA Ground Support Equipment
- Assist CAMS staff in carrying out routine tasks.
- Work closely with AMO staff to ensure required maintenance is identified and completed.
- Maintain a good working relationship with AMO staff, JA Corporate, ADF, Pilatus and Lockheed Martin.
- Assist with flight line duties in times of increased un-expected workload.
- Promote the continual improvement processes, including LEAN methodologies.
- Actively participate in regular Business Improvement Team (BIT) meetings.
- Make recommendation on error prevention strategies.
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
What will help you succeed?
- Experience with aircraft maintenance control in a civil and military environment.
- Aircraft maintenance experience and working knowledge of EASA regulations is not essential, but is an advantage
- Knowledge of tooling and calibration requirements within aviation industry.
- Ability to communicate at appropriate levels (JA Management, AMO and AEO staff and external agencies).
- Investigative, analytical and process minded
