Adventist Retirement Plus is a faith-based organisation in providing a wide range of care to the elderly, ranging from Independent Living to Residential Aged Care.
We are currently seeking 2 full-time Grounds Team Members to help with our Village mowing requirements. Commencing on a casual payrate but with full-time hours of 7.30am to 3.30pm.
The Capricorn Adventist Retirement village is 14ha and requires a mowing team who are dedicated to hard work.
We are seeking 2 persons who can bring the following attributes to the team:
- A person who takes pride in their work
- Has attention to detail
- Has experience in mowing and care of large areas
- Likes working in the outdoors
- Good work ethic
- Strong focus on WHS and the ability to work safely with a wide range of equipment
- Experience of routine maintenance of equipment
- Compassionate with the elderly
- Can work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Brings in a “can do” attitude
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Current drivers licence
- Must have valid working rights in Australia.
Additional Requirements:
- Consent to a criminal record check (police check).
- Attend a pre employment medical assessment.
