Advanced Aquarium Technologies have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Groundskeeper to join our team on the Sunshine Coast .This position is unique allowing flexibility to manage the property. Tasks will be varied from mowing and maintaining the 90 acre property, to feeding the sharks at the export facility. It wont even feel like work when you have such a varied day to day job. AAT are an 2021 awarded sunshine coast business going from strength to strength. This role is integral to current and future development of the site.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience with landscaping
- Experience with building maintenance
- Experience improving and developing land
- Handyman skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to evaluate tasks to optimise productivity
- Proven time management to complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
- Ability to re plan work flow as and when required to accommodate emergency and short notice maintenance.
- Experience with excavators, skid steer and commercial mowers etc would be an advantage.
- Proven organisation and scheduling to achieve tasks.
- Generate reports and documentation when required.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete all required maintenance to infrastructure and grounds at AAT's Campbell Rd property.
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks within AAT's factory in Kunda Park as required
- Coordinate new works by direction of Factory Manager at AAT's Campbell Rd property
- General Building maintenance
- Mowing , weed control, levelling and filling of property. Maintain fence line.
- Maintain equipment to ensure optimal operational standard. Sharpen mower blades, charge batteries etc.
- Undertake general works at the export facility including Life Support System maintenance, husbandry and packaging of animals
