Group Account Director

This GAD role is responsible for the performance and profitability of a portfolio of clients, providing strategic oversight and direction in helping them achieve their goals in all their marketing activities across both the brand and customer experience.

You will be responsible for leading and fostering strong relationships with both existing and new clients as well as have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Reporting into the Client Services Director you will be a trusted advisor, influencing clients’ decisions with your creative and strategic mindset. You will help create an environment where people are inspired, engaged and motivated to do their best work and have a genuine hunger to do things differently.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the pitch and presentation of thought leadership, ideas and strategic business solutions to clients
• Provide strategic guidance to the agency across all accounts to ensure that the work delivers
• Oversee the onboarding of new clients ensuring the client is set up for success
• Ensuring quality client briefs through reverse brief process
• Leading a project team across different departments
• Working closely with creative teams, production team and third party suppliers in developing briefs, timelines and running day-to-day projects
• Oversee all proposal developments to ensure they meet our creative quality standards
• Lead and drive monthly financial reporting and forecasting
• Ensuring team process compliance (creative, financial and operational)

A bit about you:

• 10-12+ years agency experience - Award winning, integrated creative agency background is preferred
• Experience across multiple channels specifically brand, creative, digital, social media, and content production
• Previous brand experience working with corporate clients
• Sufficient experience delivering multiple large and complex projects concurrently
• Confident and engaging communication and presentation skills
• Team player mentality, with a flexible, inclusive, and positive attitude
• Inspirational and confident leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple team members across multiple projects and mentor direct reports
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to write and coordinate effective and compelling proposals, briefs and presentations
