We are currently seeking a talented Group Accountant to join our dedicated finance team and contribute to our continued success and growth.
Job Summary: The Group Accountant will play a critical role in consolidating financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS16 and Capex
- Coordinate and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with group reporting parents (parent company and subsidiaries) to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate audits.
- Assist with SOX controls testing.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in business, accounting or finance.
- Professional accounting qualification CPA or CA
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a group or corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Capex and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
