An exciting and rewarding position exists within the New Lambton (Newcastle) Team of our growing National Accounting, Business, and Financial Services firm for a Client Service Officer to join our team to support our Accounting and Administrative Team in providing services to our clients. 

Our office hours are 8:45am to 5:15pm Monday to Friday (with 1-hour lunch break) based out of our New Lambton office.

Will be willing to negotiate a part-time role for the right applicant.

The Role
In this role, your duties will include:

  • Answer telephone calls including directing calls appropriately including taking accurate messages and forwarding same in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of engagement letters, fee schedules and client proposals.
  • Request client records, as directed.
  • Accounts receivable functions. 
  • Prepare and supply documentation to third parties when requested by clients.
  • Lodgement of tax returns with the ATO.
  • Ensure maintenance of onsite corporate registers.
  • General filing.
  • Database maintenance.

On the job training will be provided for the above-mentioned tasks.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Client Service Officer who is a reliable, motivated, and well-presented individual who has a mature and proactive approach to work.

Your Skills
The successful applicant will need to have:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Customer service experience

Extensive on-the-job training will be provided.
