About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Group Area Manager to help us continue to drive the success of our stores in Tasmania.
This is a role well suited to an aspiring retailer; someone who thrives in a team environment and has a very strong customer-service orientation. Someone who is a very good communicator, hardworking, well organised and would like to take their retail career to a new level. Leadership skills come naturally to you and nurturing talent is a key to your current success.

What will you do?
- Drive the ongoing sales focus, service standards and success of up to nine stores.
- Develop a high-performance team culture throughout your stores.
- Manage the full employment lifecycle of your team, while improving your existing human resource management skills. This includes the management of rosters and the optimisation of staffing levels.
- Business planning with your Store Managers including the coaching and development of all team members.
- Contribute to the development of training and development programs.
- Ensure the maintenance of nationally aligned retail standards and promotional activity, including compliance with Company policies and procedures.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Proven history of achieving beyond personal and store targets and KPI’s.
- Outstanding leadership qualities and exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent people development, performance management and training skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Highly organised, deadline driven and proactive.
- Strong computer literacy with a minimum of intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.
- Must be self-motivated with an active 'hands on' approach and a 'can do' attitude.
- High level of professionalism and work ethic.
