Commercial Credit Manager - Fleet Management

Due to growth and subsequent increased head count this company is looking to secure the services of a an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Credit Manager in their Head Office near Parramatta.
Role on Offer
Working with seasoned professionals and a dynamic sales team, your role will incorporate all functions of Credit Management - analysis / assessment, reporting and negotiations. You will oversee credit risk assessments and prepare and approve credit applications up to an approved level or in conjuction with the executive team.
- You will liaise with internal and external stake holders in relation to collection of outstanding monies and coordinate the accounts team to persue those payments.
- You will work with the sales team in the negotiation and preparation of Master Lease Agreements.
- You will have the chance to further your skills and as the company grows so will your opportunities to move your career forward.
- Generate monthly reports relating to credit applications and cashflow.
- You will be part of the executive team and called upon to help further develop the Australian credit framework.
Remuneration on offer
Base salary will be discussed with relevant candidates
Selection Criteria
To be successful in your application for this role you must possess:
- Experienced in being a hands on manager of a Commercial Credit team (Essential)
- A high level of enthusiasm to pursue a role in a Credit function is essential
- Experience in the preparation of risk reports
- You are a CPA or CA
- Sound knowledge of Operating leases and Finance
- Previous experience managing staff such as Credit Analysts, finance teams
- Willingness to learn new things and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly
- Exposure to the Fleet Management industry would be highly regarded but is not essential
- You are familiar with PPSR
- Preparation of client credit reviews
- Management of aged debtors
- High levels of Autonomy
- Strong relationship building skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Candidates with knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable from a management perspective are encouraged to apply.
