About the role:

Reporting to the Manager – Group Maintenance, the Group Asset Utilisation Coordinator is responsible for managing mobile assets across all Repurpose It sites ensuring mobile plant maintenance and spend is in line with budget and reporting on fuel and utilisation is maintained on a monthly basis for all mobile plant at Repurpose It. Additionally, this position is responsible for the roll out and administration of MEX, undertaking business improvement projects and ensuring that best practice in industry is maintained with relation to mobile plant technology.

Please note, travel between all Repurpose It sites (Epping, Hallam and Montrose) is a requirement of this position.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Managing all mobile assets across the organisation and assisting the Manager - Group Maintenance with establishing Maintenance budgets for the organisation
• Reporting on mobile plant and fuel utilisation for all assets across all Repurpose It sites
• Assisting the Manager - Group Maintenance to establish business plans on current and future capital needs of the business
• Drafting capital plans with the Procurement Manager
• Raising all purchase orders with relation to mobile plant and hire of equipment
• Undertaking business improvement projects to identify cost saving and productivity improvements across the organisation
• Establishing processes to ensure that all external plant hire is managed through this position
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of technology in the market to ensure the Repurpose It remains competitive

About you:

This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to use their experience to develop budgets, reporting, processes and procedures to centralise and streamline the usage of mobile plant across all Repurpose It sites. To be successful in this role, you will have strong communication and relationship skills with the ability to influence across all levels across the business.

You will need:

• Degree or diploma in in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Process, Manufacturing or related field) preferred but not essential.
• Victorian driver’s license
• Right to work in Australia
• Police check (to be completed during recruitment process)
