The Role:
Reporting to the Southern Sales Director your role will be working with clients to meet and exceed your sales targets and grow market share based on targets set yearly for your client portfolio.
GBD’s are responsible for maximising revenue from new and existing client accounts in order to achieve agreed revenue targets/sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction when dealing with the Company.
Specifically, you are responsible for:
- Building and leading a QMS sales function in the Adelaide media market
- Achieving sales targets
Seeking to increase QMS Media share of media revenue across the product portfolio
What you will be able to do:
- Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans regarding client base to achieve Sales revenue/sales targets;
- Achieve sales targets across our product portfolio (including Canberra Airport and Street Furniture);
- Conducting product demonstrations (where applicable) and coordinating the preparation of Sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans;
- Regularly reporting actual performance to budget, with variance analyses and revised projections;
- Provide weekly actual revenue reporting and quarterly forecast revenue reporting;
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships with key senior people in Advertising, Creative and Media industry.
- Budget delivery across Adelaide market
- Ownership of agencies and tailored proactive pitches to drive agency deals;
What are we looking for?
Ideally you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Preferred degree in business, media, communications or other related fields;
- Previous experience in a similar role, including Media Sales, Outdoors Sales, Team Management & Media Agency Experience would be highly regarded.
- Proven senior sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage direct and indirect teams of employees across multiple functions.
- Specialist OOH product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
