Who we are
BM Property Services Pty Ltd was established by a 16-year veteran of the cleaning industry, with the aim of introducing a cleaning company to the market that would bring a different and innovative approach to the industry. We have headhunted some of the best and most experienced senior managers and contract managers, all sharing the same philosophy of innovation, technology, sustainability, customer service, and best practices. We are expanding our services into the wholesale of consumables, offering an all-inclusive supply and service of cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals to provide our clients with a complete cleaning services solution.
Our Group of Companies includes the Brisbane Cricket Centre and Shine Enterprising. This newly created role, Group Finance Manager, will oversee the three companies within the Group.
We are currently expanding and looking for an experienced accountant to grow with us from Queensland to other states, such as New South Wales and Victoria.
Who we’re looking for
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in progressively senior roles within financial analysis, strategic planning as a Finance Manager.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Experienced in working with students and people from a vast cultural background
- Fluent in English and Sinhala
Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and overseeing in-depth financial analyses; reporting to support key stakeholders in making informed and calculated operational decisions.
- Review existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication with auditors, providing timely access to relevant documentation, answering inquiries, and addressing any audit findings or concerns promptly and accurately.
- Manage bookkeeper responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Establishing, executing, overseeing, reassessing, and implication in business performance and accounting strategy and policies
- Providing financial reports and implications for company performance and capital requirements.
- Coordinating the development and implementation and monitoring of financial systems.
- Overseeing the production of financial reports on projects and analyse the company's financial position such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and projections of future profits and revenues.
- Evaluating proposals for capital financing and the operation of projects.
- Recommending on investment plans, funding sources, and the allocation of profits.
- Producing long-term profit forecast, budget management, and financial reporting.
- Ensuring compliance to financial and accounting laws.
