GARON Plastics is a state-of-the-art injection moulding facility offering customers a complete product development and tooling service.
GARON Plastic’s major client, SEAPA, has been making smart farming equipment for the oyster industry since 1998 and today are industry leaders in innovative plastic manufacturing technology that allows oyster farmers to grow oysters in a more productive and efficient manner.
Reporting to the Managing Director, our client is recruiting a Group Financial Controller to manage the financials for GARON Plastics and the SEAPA Group of companies in accordance with Corporate and Taxation law.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for management and the Board respectively.
- Preparing annual financial accounts and tax returns for external accountants.
- Collaborating with management to develop annual budgets and financial targets.
- Managing the financial component of the Pronto Enterprise Resource Planning software.
- Providing overall management of the payroll function, fringe benefits tax compliance, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Oversee cash flow including foreign exchange, payment of suppliers, and collection from customers.
The successful candidate will be a tertiary qualified and registered CPA or CA and demonstrate proven experience within the manufacturing industry, along with a strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and interpersonal skills are vital as is having a positive “can do” mindset with a willingness to support others within the business.
