Job Description: We are currently looking for a Part-Time Financial Controller/Internal Accountant to oversee our financial activities and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to provide strategic financial guidance and support. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company while enjoying the flexibility of part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing measures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred
- Proven experience (5 years) in a financial management role, preferably in primary production-related industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
