About the position
The City is looking for passionate, energetic and suitably qualified Group Fitness Instructors to deliver the optimum Group Fitness experience to our valued members.
We are currently recruiting for a Body Combat, Body Pump, Spin, Yoga & Pilates instructor for the following days/ timeslots:
Body Combat - Saturday 9am
Body Pump - To be confirmed
Spin - Thursday 9am
Yoga - Tuesday 6:20pm
The successful appointee will be responsible for:
- Developing, preparing and delivering appropriate Group Fitness classes that cater to a wide range of individuals
- Maintaining and increasing participation rates while delivering a customer experience that has members crying out for more
- Maintaining excellent communication with leaders within agreed timeframe
About you
As an energetic and inspiring Group Fitness Instructor you will embody the principles of health and fitness. You will love teaching classes and be able to communicate to a crowd of people confidently and clearly.
Your resume and covering letter will demonstrate that you meet the following capabilities:
- Cert III in Health & Fitness
- Body Combat/ Body Pump Les Mills Qualification
- Yoga / Pilates/ Spin Qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate (obtained within the last 3 years)
- Current CPR Certificate (obtained within the last 12 months)
- A level of fitness required to be able to participate in Group Fitness classes
- Applicants must be flexible and be able to work outside of normal business hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Applicants are asked to outline their availability (including any restrictions) in their cover letter; and
- Flexibility to cover classes at short notice.
