- Experience with content strategy and creation,
- Ability to oversee, manage and mentor team members
- Excellent project management experience with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Crisis Management and critical incident media response experience
- Budget planning & management
- Leverage and foster positive media relationships within the travel, leisure and trade industry media, developing compelling story-pitches to grow earned media value and audience reach
- Develop an annual PR strategy and tactical plan for the Journey Beyond Group and contribute with ideation and innovative ideas to the individual brand marketing plans with PR targets, brand fame ideas and initiatives that will contribute to annual marketing objective and business priorities
- Seek out new ways to grow awareness for the Journey Beyond brands through both traditional and emerging media channels
- Develop category leading event ideas and creative launch initiatives to support major company and brand announcements or milestones
- Crisis Management - handle media queries and oversee corporate and consumer communications during occasions or brand and operational disruptions, incidents or crisis
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
