Group Manager Utility Operations

At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our community. To help us achieve this we are seeking a progressive, energetic leader to drive excellence in our Community Utilities Operations team.On a day-to-day basis, this role will:

• Oversee the daily management of water, waste, and sewer operations, including distribution, collection, renewals, and facility management.
• Coordinate and manage the maintenance of key infrastructure assets such as water and sewage treatment plants, recycled water plants, waste depots, and transfer stations.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and safety standards while promoting a safety-first culture among the team.
• Manage service delivery within budgetary constraints, prioritizing timely infrastructure maintenance and operational efficiency.
• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement through effective leadership and mentorship, ensuring operational excellence in engineering trades services.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has degree-level qualifications in Civil Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline, complemented by strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrates strategic thinking capabilities through contribution to the development and maintenance of asset management plans and operational frameworks.
• Exhibits attention to detail, ensuring compliance with legislation and safety standards.
• Has excellent communication skills to engage with key stakeholders.
• Showcases financial acumen with an understanding of budget management principles.

Remuneration and BenefitsEmployment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per weekPackage: $201,206.00 per annum inclusive of base, super, allowances and vehicle.Benefits:
