The Role
As the Group Reporting Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting purposes. Key responsibilities include:
- Consolidate monthly group results
- Consolidate budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure
- Manage end of month reporting processes
- Liaise with corporate head office
- Ensure financial data integrity through identification, resolution, and disclosure of reporting issues
- Maintain system procedures and controls to ensure reliable reporting
- Prepare internal and external audit supporting documents
- Reconcile general ledger for corporate group entities
- Track overheads and allocate/recharge to different group entities
- Conduct financial variance analysis and undertake ad-hoc projects
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or related field
- CPA/CA qualification or currently pursuing
- Experience with SAP desirable
- Familiarity with accounting standards, legislative requirements, and practices within a commercial environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to proactive work ethic
